short news
Dear Friends,
I am sorry but I've been unable to update my blog recently because my PC isn't working reliably.
Berta and I are well. Berta is doing a placement in a nearby library. She is enjoying it though has to work very hard.
The Friday English Classes are well attended and hope that the numbers will keep up and will even increase.
I am in Spain next week, DV, and hope to meet some friends.
If you have Skype let me know, and we might be able to speak sometime.
Thank you for all your e-mails and help!
Take care!
Tamás & Berta

50th blog
Dear Reader,
Though my intention was to update my blog every week as I did before the Summer, I had to notice that the last update was a month ago. About this busy month of August you can read here and see some photos too.
Berta and I went on honeymoon between 18th and 25th of August in Croatia.
We were at a lovely wedding last Saturday (8th Sept.) and are going to another wedding this Saturday again. I think that's all the weddings we have to go this year, but I might be wrong.
An important event is coming up as we are restarting the Friday English Classes on 21st September. Former campers have already been asking when we would start meeting on Friday. I hope that the attendance of this first Friday Class will be good and we might see some new faces too.
Berta went back to College and commutes there from Monday to Thursday. She has no lectures on Friday. She has to do a placement next month at a library and we are looking for a place for her at the moment.
The midweek meetings restarted and I'll have to work out a schedule that will enable me to be both in Budapest part of the week and take meetings at the church.
Thank you for your prayers!
Tamás & Berta
PS: Yes, I did catch some fish!

English Summer Camp 2007
Dear All,
We had a great English Summer Camp! Thank you for all your prayers! Let the photos tell you what it looked like. Just a few comments for the photos: notice the temperature in the week following the camp: 45.9! Also, we met Jamie from last year. He was a teacher in 2006. He happened to be in Budapest with his brother and "accidentally" we just bumped into them! Some statistics: 76 campers including 6 helpers, 8 teachers...
Berta and I are going to get married on the 28th this month!!! Please, pray for a nice day for the wedding.
Every blessing,
Tamás & Berta

long time no write
Dear Friends,
I'll try to cover briefly what has happened since my last update:
The wedding next month: Plans for the wedding need constant attention but we have been able to book the photographer and also a musician. We also bought some nice decoration that we will us on the tables at the reception. Please, pray for the wedding preparation that everything would go smoothly on the big day. We will have the photographs taken (at 12:00) before the ceremony in the registrar's office (14:00) and then we will go to the church (15:00) then have the reception (from 17:00).
Friday English Class: We broke off for the Summer and had the last Friday Class on 18th May, which was a BBQ kind of garden-party with the parents invited. It was a great afternoon. As far as I know all the Friday Class members are going to be at the English Summer Camp which leads me on to my next point. At previous classes we watched a DVD, had ice-cream and looked at photos from our childhood and talked about our families - so generally had a great time.
The English Summer Camp next month: Half of the campers have already signed up and please, continue to pray for more, esp. as campers here tend to sing up in the last minute or later. I posted many letters and sent e-mails to all of those who were there last year. I even set up a website (a blog-site more precisely) for information. We also put a number of posters up at the local schools and placed an advert in the most read local paper that always drew much attention to the Camp in past years and people signed up in big numbers after the ad appeared. Please, pray for the materials being prepared both for the English and the Bible session.
The church fellowship day: There was a church fellowship day that went really well on 29th May. I was responsible for the venue and food. Things went really well and 31 people turned up.
The church choir: The church choir sung on 3rd June and through it is a small choir (only seven of us were singing) we received a big applause at the end.
Preaching engagement: I had a number of preaching engagements in these last week mainly in our church and more are coming up.
Church magazine: After a number of days (and nights) of hard work the next issue of our church magazine (the Pentecost issue) was finished well on time this time and we didn't have the same problem we had run into last month when the printing press couldn't print the magazine only after Easter.
Hungarian Bible Society: From June I started to help the Hungarian Bible Society on a part-time basis in one of their projects. This extra workload and responsibility present some challenges as well as some interesting tasks too.
Special day: This Sunday is a special day when we would like to emphasize the importance of reading good Christian books. We will have a guest speaker and a book stall with a great selection.
Thank you for reading my blog!
Every blessing,
Tamás
PS: The photos are – the church choir singing, food at the Friday Class BBQ, church fellowship day (1), church fellowship day (2), end of year service for the nursery children and their parents, us, a storm-torn tree in the church garden, youth in the church, one of the youngest person at the fellowship day, the school where the English Camp is gonna be held, and some nice flowers...

blogging from Wales
Dear Reader,
We are thankful to say that we have arrived safe and sound and that the days we have been here (England and Wales) were really lovely. The weather is very nice and we enjoy meeting friends.
Today we went to St. David and that has been really fantastic.
Thank you for thinking of us in your prayers. Please, see the attached photos, hope you'll like them.
